Amala (April) Cantor
Amala (April) Cantor is certified in the Integral Yoga tradition and further trainings in Anusara Yoga, with special focus on corporate yoga and children's yoga. She's been teaching yoga at IYI since 1999. Much of her teachings are informed by her Vipassana meditation practice, love for the arts and travel, and from observing her toddler-aged son Sidney Sky. April is interested in facilitating space for students to listen to their body's wisdom and to become more at home there. On special occasions, April facilitates Partner Yoga workshops with her husband Barry Blumenfeld.Hatha I on Mondays at 4:15-5:45 p.m.
