Can I use my cell phone when I am at IYI?Please turn off all beepers and cell phones. This will enable other students to have a more peaceful experience.

Is it difficult to find a job teaching yoga?Although we do not guarantee employment, positions are available.

What are your hours?IYI is open Monday to Saturday from 8:45 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. IYI is closed for Midday Meditation from 12:15 to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Do children pay for a full price ticket to Kirtans?Children under 12 are admitted free to all Kirtan events.

Basic Teacher Training
What is the ratio of staff/instructors to students?Seven students to one instructor.
Registering for Workshops, Courses and Events
Are there any discounts on workshops?An ID is required for you to be eligible for discounts. Seniors 65 and older, students, veterans (with proof of military service), and people on unemployment (who must present a current unemployment coupon or check) receive $8 off workshops and $14 off courses. Please register by phone or walk-in to register to receive a discount.

Are there guest presentations?Yes. IYI always invites instructors who are currently working and practicing in the field of yoga.
