Dear Friend,
Current events illustrate how politics, war and even religion can divide people against each other and instill fear in our hearts.
Yoga can be a powerful antidote — uniting and healing body, mind and heart and bringing us in touch with the unchanging aspect of our being and each other.
At Integral Yoga Institute, we are dedicated to making these profound teachings available to all. We have the opportunity to find peace in ourselves, see the oneness in all the spiritual paths and be agents of peace in the community.
I invite you to participate in our mission by making a generous donation to the Institute today.
The Integral Yoga Institute offers an array of classes and workshops at affordable prices, with the intention of bringing wellness to all.
We are a unique non-profit yoga center:
We offer 128 classes a week at a variety of levels and at convenient hours
Focus on under-served populations: Extra gentle, HIV-positive, Unemployed
We’re in the community: Our Yoga At Work™ and Yoga At School™ programs bring peace and joy to people who may not have access to yoga classes in their neighborhoods.
A child in one of our Yoga At School™ classes in Brooklyn declared, "It helps you clear out your mind and let out all your anger inside."
We care about the people in our community.
It is important to foster nurturing, communicative, and collaborative relationships within the Integral Yoga community, which will ground and strengthen our service to the greater community and the world. We have many goals and hopes for our future, including expanding our programs for families and children, improving our outreach and providing spiritual guidance and support to the people in the Integral Yoga community.
Please join us in our efforts to achieve our goals. We welcome your assistance.
Peace to all,
Swami Ramananda
