Intermediate Level II
The Intermediate Teacher Training course provides you with the opportunity to upgrade your teaching skills, deepen your practice, and expand your services by learning how to teach a Hatha Level II class. Intermediate asanas and variations are presented as well as intermediate pranayama practices. Scriptural study of the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita also is included - expanding your grounding in the universal teachings of Yoga for personal development and deepening your understanding for teaching. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and spend time with other Integral Yoga teachers, to share experiences and new ideas, and to find creative solutions to problems encountered in teaching.
Curriculum
Daily practices will include pranayama, silent meditation, chanting and other Yoga-based spiritual practices. The curriculum will include:

Teacher Bios

Kali Morse E-RYT (500 hours) is Director of the Teacher Training Programs at the NY IYI. She has been practicing and teaching Yoga since the 1970s. In addition to teaching Yoga at Integral Yoga Kali also teaches Yoga to undergraduate students in the Physical Education Department at Barnard College. She is certified to teach Integral Hatha I, II, III, Meditation, Prenatal and Postpartum, Children’s and Therapeutic Yoga.

Swami Ramananda is the President of the Integral Yoga Institute in New York City and a greatly respected senior teacher in the Integral Yoga tradition, who has been practicing Yoga for over 30 years. Through his affinity for and devoted study of The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Ramananda offers practical methods of integrating the teachings of yoga into daily life, and coping with stress, depression, and anger. He leads advanced level yoga teacher training programs in NYC, and offers a variety of workshops in many locations around the country. He is a founding board member of the Yoga Alliance, a national registry that supports and promotes yoga teachers as professionals.

Shankar Impagliazzo has been a student of Yoga, Zen, and martial arts. He has taught at IYI for over 20 years, including serving as an instructor for IYI's Meditation Teacher Training.
