Baba Shivarudra Balayogi
At the age of 17, Babaji surrendered his life to the service of his beloved guru, Shivabalayogi, whom he served with one-pointed devotion for 20 years before undertaking Tapas. During Tapas he spent 18 hours a day completely absorbed in the silence of deep meditation known as samadhi. Five years later the supreme goal of Yoga was realized.
