Awakening the Mystic Body
Introduction to Dancemeditation
Dunya
Saturday, Jan. 24 • 2:30–5:30 p.m.
$45
The objective of Dancemeditation is for participants individually, and the group collectively, to experience embodiment in motion, self-awareness, presentness, and comfort arising from an intimacy with one’s true self. The objective of this workshop is to provide participants with a substantive introductory experience of Dancemeditation. People will learn and practice three primary Dancemeditation techniques: Dervish Mudra, Deep State Motion, and Breath Dances. These practices usher people into a focused, fluid presentness and a deepened embodiment.
The benefits include:
• an expanded internal flow of movement
• stress reduction
• the release of physical, mental and emotional tension
• body–mind integration
• increased sensation
• access to the self-sustaining vitality of center
• contentment
Please join us for a book signing with Dunya, author of Skin of Glass: Finding Spirit in the Flesh, Saturday, January 24, from 5:30 to 6 p.m.
