Prana Yoga involves practicing with a deeper awareness of how the life force, or prana, builds and moves through the body. While doing asanas, you will use ujjai and kapalabhati breathing techniques to increase prana and guide energy to the chakras. Vowel sounds direct the prana to areas that need special healing and balance the chakras. By focusing on the chakras, you experience a greater flow of prana in the areas opened by the asanas.
