SPECIAL GUEST PROGRAM

Pancha Koshas: Five Bodies
Awaken a Deeper Connection

Swami Karma Karuna

Thursday, June 26 • 6:30–9:30 p.m.

$30

According to the Yogis, the human structure goes far beyond the physical body. Yoga describes the human being, like an onion, as consisting of five layers (or koshas): the physical, energetic, mental, intuitive, and bliss bodies. These layers can be thought of individually and are interconnected across a wide spectrum of human existence including the chakras, physical and mental health, personality, and expression. The Pancha Koshas provide a map for understanding our experiences. Learn theoretical knowledge and practices related to each layer. Awaken a deeper connection and experience of the Pancha Koshas through postures, breath, simple kriyas, bandhas, and meditation practices. With such understanding we increase our potential on all levels.
