Help It Help You

Thursday, Nov. 20 • 6-9 p.m.

Shoulders are the most malleable joints in the body, facilitating many activities, including Yoga. However, shoulders need strong muscles to support their full range of motion safely. Come learn range-of-motion exercises (from Mukunda Stiles’s Structural Yoga Therapy) to stretch tight muscles and strengthen weak ones. Discover proper shoulder alignment in such basic asanas as downward dog, triangle, and shoulder stand. Questions are encouraged.
